Why does it say that my kit has already been activated when I don’t remember ever activating my kit?

If you ordered your ancestry, medical or trait test prior to August 2, 2016, your kit may not have an activation code. If you have already linked your kit to your account, your kit will already be activated and no further action is required. If you have not yet linked your kit to your account, go to www.dnaaccess.com, click “Activate Your Kit” and follow the instructions provided.
