A recollection may not be required for your ancestry upgrade test if you had recently taken an ancestry test.
If you already have a DNA Ancestry test with our laboratory (mtDNA test or Y-DNA test) and wish to order an upgrade ancestry test, login to your FamilyVault account, click “My Results”, find the ancestry report that you wish to upgrade, then click “Get more markers”. If there is sufficient DNA remaining from your previous test, the order form will not require you to get another kit. If you do not have enough DNA on file remaining from your previous test, the order form will request you to enter your shipping address and shipping method so that another kit can be sent to you.
