If a family member had already created a family tree on FamilyVault and you wish to join their existing tree, follow the instructions below:
If you do not already have a FamilyVault account, ask your relative to send you an email invitation to join their family tree.
If you already have a FamilyVault account, you can either ask your relative to send you and invitation to join their tree, or else you can follow these steps to request your relative to send you a link to join their family tree:
1. Login to your FamilyVault account.
2. Click “My Family Tree”, then click “Create New Tree”, then click “Join an existing Family Tree” and send a request by email to the family member whose tree you wish to join.
